The Fleur-de-lis

"The poetry of ages past claims God and gods as both supernatural and glorious, capable of imparting their qualities and assets to humans, as they exist on this earth... In the beginning, the world was dark and now, with poetry, it is somewhat lit, although dimly.  The poets’ piercing words transcend the dark ignorance of mankind... We are all waiting to be illumined, warned, caught in the throes of innocence, tamed."

This document of postmodern Canadiana literature will both inspire and delight readers. 'The Fleur-de-lis' document is a collection of the select poetry of Emily Isaacson as sent to Prince William, between 2005-2009. She wrote on behalf of a nation in peril, to recapture the spirit of her country and her people. The perspective stemming from her disciplined art, its prolific influence, her painterly presence, her sense of decorum, and nicely, the silver thread throughout her epistle of romance all establish Emily as a noted poet of Canadian birth.

Piecing together the journey of humanity from a simple beginning to a royal coronation, the poet ebbs and flows like the wild madonna of the sea, given to birth and pierced by nature. The language of verse speaks as most cherished medium, chronicling human nature in all its pathos and gestation. Soli Gloria deo
